Have you lost any data since the last ManilaCon?

If not, good for you. But as you very well know, the rate of increase in threats and attacks in our Cyberworld is increasing faster than our ability to protect our ever-growing IT systems and networks in the country.

And whatever security tricks, tips and techniques we picked up last year has probably been rendered ineffective, if not obsolete considering the new threats and the many more security solutions made available in the marketplace in the past 12 months.
.

You are therefore again invited to join us in this 6th Annual Philippine IT Security Conference and Exhibit dubbed as ManilaCon2k7:world@risk on September 11 and 12, 2007 at the Intercontinental Hotel in Makati City.

We have invited the country’s top government agencies and the world’s top IT security companies to share their experience and expertise in the field of Information Systems security.

This year’s "ManilaCon 2k7:world@risk” conference and exhibit is organized by the Information Systems Security Society of the Philippines (ISSSP), in cooperation with the Commission on Information and Communications Technology (CICT) and the National Security Council (NSC) towards the development and implementation of a National Cyber Security Strategy. We need one to ensure the integration of public and private efforts to counter threats and institutionalize the protection of national and local cyber infrastructures and businesses.

The Philippine IT Security Conference is on its 6th year and we expect the biggest gathering of not just IT Security Professionals but everyone concerned with securing and ensuring that their data and information systems are not compromised at all. That includes the CEOs, COOs, CFOs, CIOs, Auditors, Risk and Compliance Officers, IT Managers, Network or Systems and DB Administrators and the IT Professionals…. especially YOU!
