Module 1 – Malware: A Major Hindrance in Customer Service Delivery - High Elecon Corporation

Any software can be hacked or cracked. And this is the reason why software protection and security has become a key concern for all businesses and institutions dependent on the use of software for their continuing operation and growth. So, what are the threats and security features one must consider when faced with a national concern like the coming 2010 Philippine election? This is one solution!

Module 2 – Transmission Security: The Pathway to 24 X 7 Operations – Borderware
Networks provide the pathway where information and data travel uninterrupted, resulting in faster delivery of services to clients. But just like in the real world where a van carrying goods for transport to a destination are exposed to dangers man-made or otherwise (i.e. hijacking, floods) these pathways also face corollary risks although in a technical sense. In other words, data transmission and messages can be snooped, intercepted or even foiled by a determined hacker.

This module was designed to provide insight, models and tool which can respond and address online interception and incidents.

Module 4 – Ensuring the Security of 2010 Elections
The Election is just around the corner. But can the system be hacked? This question caused quite a stir in the It community as there are those who believe that there is no such thing as a fully secured system. And that somewhere along the line, given the 3 components of hardware, software and peopleware, any system can be compromised.

What is significant to note is the recent report in the media that a group of global hackers are set to launch a cyber attack on the election system to test its vulnerability or invulnerability. What’s your take on the matter?
