What are the aims of ISSSP?
- To be an unbiased association of security-concerned
practitioners (technical and management) not motivated by politics or profits, but by
their dedication to protecting information resources in a professional and ethical manner;
- To hold conferences and expositions as a way of educating the public about the current and technology trends in information systems security, threats and solutions;
- To hold monthly meetings, seminars and forums as a means to exchange information, benchmark security practices, share experiences and learn on a continuing and progressive basis; and
- To pursue relationships with other national, regional and international and professional organizations as may be beneficial in advancing the aims of ISSSP.
